    “Catch Them Being Good”, the name of the new Parenting Group at TERROS Mesa Stapley Clinic, is a 12 week, strength-based program offering practical parenting skills to clients. Most of the clients in the program are either at risk of losing custody or have already lost custody of their kids and are desperate to demonstrate their competence as parents.

    COPE (Community Outreach Prevention Education) was notified in March that it has received Evidence-Based Program status for FY11-12. This designation was given by a group of peer reviewers, funders and representatives from the Arizona Department of Behavioral Health Services.

    “Wow! What an amazing event,” was the reaction of Barb Garden who along with Lluvia Estrada and Larry Villano participated in The Arizona StandDown, the state’s largest outreach event for homeless and at- risk veterans. This is the second year TERROS has had the privilege of participating.
